Boris Bikes – Up in the office
Here is a photo of it up and running the in office, the placard next to the image reads:
In July 2010, Boris Johnson introduced his city bike scheme to London. This illustration runs off a live feed of bike activity for the 3 closest bicycle docking stations to our office here – 2 on Hampstead Road, and 1 on Eversholt Street. Each line of blue LED’s indicates 20% availability of bikes in that station, and is updated every 30 seconds. The unit uses an Arduino chip and wireless Internet shield and communicates with the Boris Bikes API.
